The world's first-ever dance routine creation app, DanceMaker.ME, has launched for the iPad on the iTunes App Store.
Created by March Entertainment and À la Carte Videos Inc, with funding by the Canada Media Fund, DanceMaker.ME lets users create and share their own dance performances while customizing every part of the process, including beautiful 3D avatars, costumes, stages and special effects.

Mia and Me, the hit children's show combining live action and CG animation, has been renewed for a second season.
A ratings phenomenon, Mia and Me's highly successful performance convinced the production partners to greenlight a second season with 26 new episodes.
Season two of Mia and Me will be a co-production between March Entertainment, Lucky Punch (a joint venture between m4e and Hahn Film) and Rainbow Srl. The new season is scheduled for delivery in 2014/2015.

Mattel has been named as a toy partner for Mia and Me, a live-action/CG animation hybrid fantasy series developed and co-produced by Lucky Punch, Rainbow, March Entertainment and ZDF, and jointly distributed worldwide by m4e and Rainbow.
In addition to Mattel, a major licensing program is already underway for the property with international partners including Panini, Unilever Germany, Belltex, Clementoni, Schmidt Spiele and Egmont. Consumer products will be available from summer 2012.

German brand management and media company m4e AG has acquired worldwide TV and home entertainment distribution rights (excluding North America and Australia) for two new animated features from March Entertainment: Dex Hamilton and Tossed in Space.

A new interactive portal and gaming suite based on the March Entertainment show G2G: Got to Go! launched today on the CBC Kids website.
G2G: Extra Credit is an interactive experience for tweens that seamlessly combines the worlds of social networking, gaming and creative writing. By offering numerous options for creative play within a moderated, consistently updated structure, G2G:XC will be a popular destination for kids to return to time and time again.

March Entertainment's acclaimed animated series Yam Roll is launching on Hulu, the popular video streaming service.
The show, which includes 39 11-minute episodes and 39 three-minute shorts, is available in the U.S. on Hulu.com and the Hulu Plus subscription service. It will join Chilly Beach, another March Entertainment show recently released on Hulu.

The Canada Media Fund has announced its support for two innovative projects slated for production by March Entertainment. The projects were submitted in the first round of the CMF 2011-2012 Experimental Stream, which supports innovative Canadian interactive properties.

March Entertainment has released its first game for Apple iOS and Google Android, a bubble-popping puzzler called Cranky Cat.
Fast-paced and addictive, the game features a cantankerous Victorian-era cat trying to create a youth elixir by condensing chemical compounds in a steam-powered centrifuge. Cranky Cat is March's first game not tied to an existing intellectual property, and marks the company's foray into "pure" casual gaming just for the fun of it.

March Entertainment's groundbreaking, web-to-TV animated comedy series Chilly Beach is now available in the U.S. for the first time on Hulu and the Hulu Plus subscription service, via a deal with distributor Duopoly.
Originally produced for Canada’s CBC, the series ran over three seasons and garnered a large and enthusiastic following through a combination of broadcast play and the property's dynamic, interactive website.
